The Alzheimers Day Program is aimed at adults who want to stay in the community in their own homes or with their families, and are coping with the specific effects of moderate to severe Alzheimers Disease, or other forms of dementia. Participants take part in a range of arts, cultural, gardening, cooking, and strength training. The program focuses on the abilities of our participants despite the complicated symptoms that can accompany dementia. Program is NOT suitable for individuals:
- who require two person transfers
- who require the use of a mechanical lift
- who require constant 1:1 support
- who require feeding assistance
