Description:
St. Joseph's Adult Day Programs are for older adults, living in the community, alone or with family, who would benefit from a wellness oriented program, including social recreational activties, monitoring and assessment in a supervised, therapeutic enviroment. The day program also provides caregiver relief, education for families and individuals, support and advocacy. Here is an example of our Calendar: http://www.sjhcg.ca/out-n-about
Program is NOT suitable for individuals:
- who require two person transfers
- who require 1:1 support
- who require the use of a mechanical lift
- who require feeding assistance

Eligibility Criteria
Criteria:
Older adults with a physical disability, and/or frailty. Older adults experiencing social isolation, loneliness or depression who reside in community (alone, assisted, caregiver respite). Does not live in LTC facility.
