Description:
The Telephone Assurance Program (TAP) provides volunteers who regularly, on week days, phone to check on a client’s well-being and provide a predetermined response if the call is not answered. Clients work with the Program Coordinator to decide on a response plan that best meets their needs. Many clients also use the Telephone Assurance Program because a call from a friendly volunteer can also be a great way to start the day.
Calls only take place Monday-Friday during morning hours. No calls are made on weekends or holidays (civic and statutory). Please note, medication reminders are not a part of the Telephone Assurance Program.

Criteria:
- Clients must also be able to abide by the program guidelines and be able and willing to receive a regular call.
- Clients must have a working telephone.
