Description:
Handy Helper Volunteers are matched one-on-one with seniors age 55+ or adults with physical disabilities 18+ living in The Good Companions' catchment area. Language interpretation can be provided if required.
Volunteer Assistance can be provided over the phone or by home visit for basic technical support with computers, printers, cell phones and tablets and for light unskilled tasks e.g. installing curtain rod, changing batteries in smoke detectors, changing light bulbs, seasonal clothes flipping, assembling flat packed furniture e.g. bookshelf.

No cost. Services are provided with or without membership in The Good Companions.
