People with a severe mental illness live 25 years less than the average adult due to complications such as obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure or high cholesterol. The causes may be genetic, but more often, can be attributed to negative habits that adversely impact their lifespan. To reverse this, we have certified trainers work with individuals in the following areas: “Healthy Eating,” “Living Healthy with Chronic Conditions,” “Smoking Cessation,” and “Enhanced Fitness.”
