Description:

Hot Meals are cooked and prepared fresh daily at Arnprior Regional Health, The Grove. The meal includes a hot main course with two side dishes, vegetables and potato, rice or pasta - as well as soup, crackers, dinner roll and dessert.
The Food Service Supervisor, who is a member of the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management, manages the operations along with skilled cooks and dietary aides. The kitchen is inspected regularly by the Ministry of Health.
Your meal will be prepared to meet your specific dietary needs. Food allergies and sensitivities can also be accommodated.

Cost to Client:

The Hot Meals program funding does not include subsidies for meals. Cost is $8.75 per meal.For convenience, clients are invoiced at the end of each month. We are also a Registered Provider of the Veterans Independence Program (VIP) Services, Veterans Affairs Canada.

Minimum Age: 50 yrs

Criteria:

Adults who is chronically ill or living with a disability or convalescing from surgery or illness, or undergoing medical treatment.
Unable to shop for their own food, or to cook nutritious meals for themselves.
