The Children’s Mental Health Program offers intervention-based programs and services focused on providing timely and tailored mental health and addictions support to Indigenous children and youth aged zero to eighteen (0-18) in their communities. Providing direct assessment, stabilization, intervention, treatment, and supportive programs across the continuum of care assists in addressing the needs of clients and reduces barriers affecting access to mental wellness services. The programs and services offered are culturally grounded and strive to improve overall functioning and well-being for Indigenous children and youth by using holistic, evidence-based, and wrap-around approaches to address presenting concerns as well as prevent further escalation into crisis.
