Description:

If you or someone you love is living with a life threatening illness, and is tired of being stuck at home, then come and enjoy a day away at Hospice's Day Away Program.
A "Day Away" is:
- a day away from the ordinary each week
- an opportunity to socialize and participate in activities that promote well-being
- a chance to enjoy a variety of complementary therapies such as therapeutic touch, Reiki, massage with RMT, horticulture, art and music
- participating in a tasty healthy lunch
- transportation is available to Day Away
- all is provided at no cost to the client
The program is designed to benefit the individual who is living with a life limiting illness, and support their caregivers. While clients attend the program, caregivers are encouraged to take time off for themselves.
