Description:
Women's Crisis Services of Waterloo Region (WCSWR) provides safe emergency shelter to women* and children experiencing domestic violence.
*WCSWR supports women, transgender and gender-diverse individuals.
When accessing shelter, the following supports are available:
-Safety planning
-Support with applying for housing and accessing legal aid
-Referrals to community services
-Child and Youth programming
-Clinical programming, including music therapy and a clinical phycologist.
-Group programming
-Food and Nutrition programming
-Nurse practitioner
