The volunteer-based Community Visitation Program provides a regular visitor to socially isolated seniors. During COVID, these visits are conducted remotely or in physically distanced ways. Volunteer visitors are screened and trained in visiting seniors, and offering friendship and support on a regular basis.
The goal of the program is to help decrease isolation in the lives of seniors and enable them to age in place for as long as possible. For those seniors requiring greater support, our Life Navigation component offers increased support and advocacy from trained volunteers.
