Service Details
Description:
Indigenous Walk-in Counselling is a free service for Ottawa’s First Nations, Inuit and Métis community members of all ages that self-identify as Indigenous. We provide face-to-face or phone sessions, 45 to 60 minutes in duration, for a maximum of three sessions.
Our service is designed around the Indigenous belief that the mind, body, emotions and spirit must all be cared for. Our counselling team provides a holistic, client-centered, strength-based, culturally safe, and collaborative approach to counselling while incorporating Indigenous and Western approaches to healing with appropriate referrals.
