Trained Hospice Volunteers visit clients at home up to 4 hours to provide companionship, help with errands, or stay with the client while they rest. This gives caregivers time to take care of things at home or elsewhere, knowing their loved one is being supported. Hospice Volunteers are not a replacement for family, friends, or other professional caregivers, but they offer extra support alongside the Palliative Care Team.
