Service Details

Description:

The Youth Support Program provides professionally run therapy sessions for children aged 13-18 who are living with a family member with a terminal illness or for children who have recently lost a family member. Therapists help children explore their feelings around loss and help them discover positive coping mechanisms for dealing with their losses.

Criteria:

Youth aged 13-18 who are living with a family member with a terminal illness or who have recently lost a family member are eligible to participate.
