SGMT is a group of primary caregivers who provide high quality prenatal care to pregnant people and their families from the City of Toronto, particularly those from the downtown area, and from the Indigenous community.

We provide care throughout pregnancy, labour, birth and the first 6 weeks postpartum, taking into account the spiritual, emotional, mental and physical experiences of the pregnant person during her childbearing year.

Our midwives have privileges at Sunnybrook, Toronto Birth Centre and for home birth.
