Service Details
Description:

The #ready2talk? Counselling Clinic is a collaborative service offering between CFS Counselling and Wellbeing and the South Georgian Bay Ontario Health Team to ensure that everyone in South Georgian Bay has access to the mental health care they need.

The clinic provides Single Session family counselling that lasts about 60 minutes. In the session, you will be able to speak with a clinician who will work with you to create a plan and identify possible next steps to begin desired change.
This is not a crisis service. If there is a concern you might hurt yourself or someone else, contact 911, or go to your nearest hospital emergency department.
Note: Due to potential distractibility, and the tendency for children to attune to the emotional atmosphere in the counselling session(s), parents/caregivers will need to arrange childcare before attending counselling for those who are not part of the counselling session. Babies, and/or children are not permitted to be present in the space the counselling session is taking place. Should this occur, your clinician will request that your session be rescheduled.

For more information about our services, please call 705 726-2503 and follow the prompts.
