Service Details
Description:
Screened volunteers and paid drivers provide rides to and from medical appointments within Ottawa area. Clients request drives in advance, can provide about one drive per week.

Cost is based on mileage travelled. 0-10.9km: $12, 11-20.9km: $14, 21-49.9km: $19, 50+km: $27. Subsidy may be available for low-income clients.

18 yrs
Criteria:
- Senior age 60+, or an adult with a physical disability. (This service is not wheelchair accessible)
- Senior or adult must be able to use the service independently, with minimal assistance. (no accompaniment provided)
- Senior or adult must provide 7-10 days notice when transportation is required (not an urgent service)
