Description:
The Dinner Club offers a social and recreation based program for people living with dementia.
The program runs Wednesdays from 1:30-6:30pm. A hot dinner and snacks are provided.

$19.00 per day
Eligibility Criteria
Criteria:
- Person has a diagnosis of dementia.
- Physically and behaviourally stable, and does not require 1:1 ongoing support from staff.
- Able to transfer and receive care with a maximum one-person assist.
- Able to follow all covid-19 protocols in place, including donning a mask when required, maintaining physical distance from other participants, and participating in COVID-19 Screeners.
- Aware that Sunnyside is a non-smoking campus, and that smoking cannot be supported in the program.
- Able to provide an emergency contact who is available to pick the participant up from the Program within 45-minutes of a call, if the need arises (ie: Participant becomes ill during the Program or cannot be safely supported in Dinner Club environment).
