Description:
The Chrysalis Group Treatment Program with the Personality Disorder Service offers specialized therapy for adults (16+) who have difficulty managing intense and overwhelming emotions often resulting in problematic patterns of thoughts and behaviours that are long-standing, hard to change and impact many aspects of their lives, including relationships, school and work. Treatment approaches include Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Radically Open Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and psychodynamic psychotherapies (Transference-Focused Therapy and Mentalization-Based Psychotherapy), offered in a group-based setting.
We also offer specialized psychiatric assessments limited to those with suspected or confirmed personality disorder.

Criteria:
- Must be suitable to participate in group therapy. Those with an anti-social personality diagnosis would not be considered suitable.
- Not experiencing psychosis.
- Must be an out-patient.
- Those without primary care or existing mental health supports, may self-refer. Self-referrals for those with existing supports will not be accepted.
