A community based peer run organization dedicated to supporting individuals who are experiencing mental health and/or addiction challenges. PSSEO provides a safe, welcoming, and non-judgment services where people can connect with trained supports who share lived experience and offer understanding, empathy, and hope. We are non-clinical with no waitlists, providing support at this location through:
- Community peer support workers
- Drop-In Centre: laundry facilities, free meals, educational programming and social/recreational activities. Services are available on a walk in basis or by calling the office.
- Assistance completing Homeless Individuals and Families Information System (HIFIS) application
- Transitional Discharge Model (TDM) at Quinte Health
- Family Engagement Network: Support group for families with loved ones that have mental health and addictions concerns.
