Personal care may include help with feeding, nutrition care, dressing, grooming tasks, bathing, skin care, toileting, and transferring (e.g., assistance with rising and retiring care.) Home Support workers are under the direction of a case manager who is a social worker or other professional.
An initial 2-hour client assessment is done to determine eligibility and make a service plan. Personal Care Services are provided by a contracted non-government agency.
