Description:

15 week paid employment program specialized for youth experiencing barriers to employment. Individuals participate in 3 weeks of in class training followed by a 12 week placement.


Languages: ASL - American Sign Language, English, French, German, Hindi, Punjabi, Spanish

Eligibility Criteria
Other Criteria:
Maximum Age: 30 yrs
Minimum Age: 15 yrs
Criteria:
  • A Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee status has been conferred
  • Legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations.
  • Not in receipt of Employment Insurance (EI) benefits while participating in a Skills Link project
  • In need of assistance in order to overcome employment barriers.
