Description:
"This program offers group therapy through feedback, self-observation, the transferential relationship and emotional experience. The therapy objectives are adapted to the particular problematics presented by each participant. The group is composed of 6 to 8 participants and the 2 therapists (a psychiatrist, and psychotherapists).
This group therapy meets once for 3 hours on a weekly basis for 6 months. Clients are assigned a therapist, which they follow on a weekly basis 1 hours per week during the duration of the program.
Goal is for clients to work directly on managing their emotions and interpersonal difficulties and to foster behavioural change in the context of harmful relationship patterns."

Criteria:
- 1.) Presenting a diagnosis of severe and/or persistent depression and/or anxiety. 2.) Be able to read, write and express emotions in the language of the group (French only). 3.) Be motivated to engage in intensive therapy aimed at changing problematic behaviors and ways of managing emotions. 4.) Have a sufficiently stable living situation to undertake a therapeutic process: housing, food, transport, reachable by telephone. 5.) Completed referral form from primary care provider. 6.) Between 18 and 65 years of age. 7.) Valid OHIP health card. 8.) Referring family physician or nurse practitioner agrees to a return care. 9.) If referred by a psychiatrist : Last Progress Note, Current Medication List, Confirmation to offer follow-up in case of crisis, Confirmation to accept the return of care must be included.
