Description:
Volunteers provide companionship and support by connecting over the phone with socially isolated individuals living in their own homes. These daily or frequent calls provide social contact and security for individuals who may have limited daily contact. Calls are made on a regular basis for various reasons including: health and safety, daily reminders and social connection. The frequency of calls depends on the client's preferences and needs.
