PRIVATE CLINIC: Our licensed physiotherapists offer rehabilitation for all types of bodily injuries and orthopaedic conditions. We have fully equipped cardio and strength training rooms and offer all the latest treatments for pain relief including muscle stimulation, biofeedback, TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation), ultrasound, laser, whirlpool, and acupuncture. We have been providing quality physiotherapy care since 1995 and have recently renovated the clinic so you are treated in a spa atmosphere.
We are uniquely qualified to offer treatment for dizziness and vertigo.

Eligibility Criteria
Criteria:
To be eligible to access physiotherapy at Grand River Physiotherapy that is funded by the government, patients must be referred by a physician or nurse practitioner based on an assessment that the person requires physiotherapy services and is within one of the following categories:o aged 65 years and older;o aged 19 years and younger;o recently discharged as an inpatient, a person admitted to and assigned a bed in a hospital in-patient area, of a hospital and in need of physiotherapy clinic services that are directly connected to the condition, illness or injury for which the person was admitted to the hospital.

Referral Contact Information
Referral Instructions:
A doctor's referral is not required to see a physiotherapist in private practice. However, some extended health insurance benefit plans will not pay for treatment unless a physician's referral is obtained. Always check your benefits policy prior to accessing these services. A physician's referral is required if you wish to attend physiotherapy through our government funded Community Clinic (covered under OHIP).
