Description:
Provides scheduled in-person visits to help seniors 55+ who are experiencing social isolation due to their disability or inability to actively participate in activities within the community. Visits may be conducted by a staff member or a screened volunteer. Service Recipients must be residents of Dundas, ON.

55 yrs
Criteria:
Client must be a senior (55+) living within the town of Dundas or surrounding area (e.g. Greensville). Client is socially isolated due to disability (ies) or chronic/prolonged illnesses. Client cannot have a communicable disease and the home of the client must be accessible and in a safe condition to access and visit. An initial staff visit to assess suitability for visits will be required.
