Description:

Register to attend six week sessions with a Registered Kinesiologist. Education and discussions on falls prevention topics including:
- Chronic Illnesses
- Muscle & Bone Health
- Blood Pressure & Hypotension
- Vision & Hearing changes
- Those Darn Feet
- Sleep Disturbances & Mental wellness
- Medication Use
- Home & Environment safety
- Mobility Aids & Assistive Devices
- Nutrition & Incontinence
- Building better balance at home
- Arthritis
- How to get up from a fall



Incorporates learning about strength and balance, with an introduction to exercise. Please wear appropriate footwear, and bring a water bottle.

Criteria:
Completion of a PARQ and Waiver form prior to the first class. It is recommended that you talk to your family doctor if you have not been exercising regularly or if you have any concerns in starting an exercise program.
