Wellness Active Living Club (WALC) – Gentle Exercise classes are 60 minutes offered 1-2x/week, and are led by trained exercise volunteers. As class includes aerobics, balance training, strength training, and flexibility/stretching.
Seniors Maintaining Active Roles Together (SMART) group exercise class in a retirement home or community setting. Gentle Exercise Facilitator leads a 45 to 60 minute gentle exercise class that are offered 2-3x per week. Goal is self - maintenance or transition to a Wellness Active Living Club program. Classes focus on aerobics, balance exercises, strength exercises and flexibility. Offered at multiple sites across Waterloo Region. Contact Jenn McDonald for more information and locations.
