Service Details
Description:

Program provides non-emergency transportation using volunteer drivers and agency vehicles for a range of trip types, including medical appointments, errands, and social outings. Ride availability is capacity-based and depends on driver and vehicle scheduling. Pick-up and drop-off are provided at home or approved locations. Same-day ride requests are welcome, though advance notice is encouraged, and rides are confirmed once a driver or vehicle is assigned. A sliding-scale fee applies based on income. Drivers provide minimal assistance only, and clients requiring additional support must travel with an escort. A home visit with a Community Connector is required as part of intake. Service may be delayed, modified, or cancelled due to weather, safety, or operational conditions.
