Volunteer visitors provide companionship and friendship to older adults and adults with disabilities who are lonely and isolated in their homes with the goal of promoting independence.

During telephone calls arranged at a mutually agreed upon time, visitors will chat with their match and build a relationship with them. Volunteers and matches who are comfortable may decide to to meet in person to visit. These visits may include playing games, or enjoying a hobby together.
