A free Community Support Service providing social and recreational activities in the client's home. The service matches the socially isolated senior or adult with a physical disability with a trained volunteer for regularly scheduled visits which may occur once per week.

This service brings the community to the client when health or age limit their ablility to attend social or recreation programs in community settings. Social and recreational activites are agreed to between the client and the volunteer.

Personal care or health care support is NOT provided by the Visiting Volunteers. This service is stricly a social/recreational program.

Clients are matched with screened and police checked volunteers who have similar interests and personal attributes which meet client preferences
