The Red Cross Transportation is now a member of Toronto Ride.

Toronto Ride is a collaborative partnership of fourteen not-for-profit community support service agencies that provide door to door transportation to seniors and adults with disabilities, who are not eligible for Wheel Trans and unable to use public transportation.

Rides are provided for medical appointments, shopping and social events. Fees are based on distance traveled. Please note that our vehicles are not wheelchair accessible.

Booking Rides:

*Booking of rides can be made up to 30 days in advance;
*Clients will receive immediate confirmation of ride;
*Transportation is not guaranteed regardless of how far in advance ride is requested;
*We are not able to provide service on an emergency basis.
*Scheduling ongoing health care and Adult Day Program rides with consistent pick up times;
*Requesting same day rides (same day rides will be accommodated subject to availability).

Cancellations received after 12:00 p.m. on the day before a scheduled ride and no-shows will be charged full fee for the scheduled ride.
Please notify us as soon as you know that you longer required the ride; this will allow us to offer a ride to another client.

If a client has difficulty communicating over the phone, a family member or social worker can take responsibility for scheduling.
Certain eligibility criteria must be met.
