The Canadian Red Cross provides affordable transportation services for frail seniors who because of their age or disability need to be connected with a supportive community. Programs are tailored for those at risk in series of social, recreational, health promoting programs which provide stimulation and enjoyment while encouraging mutual support to enhance their physical and emotional wellbeing and thereby support independent living. This is a hand to hand and door to door service. Referral for each client has to go through respective Seniors Day Programs.
