Description:
Single Session therapy is solution focused strengths-based, following what is know as the Single Session model of care. Sessions are typically 60 minutes in length can occur in person , virtual or over the phone pending on your preference. Single session can be accessed every 4 weeks. Sessions are are completed by a variety of counselors, there is no guarantee that you will be able to meet with the same counselor at your next session.
If you live outside of our catchment area but have a Family Physician/Nurse Practitioner with the Couchiching Family Health Team, please call our office at 705-327-4141.
Single Session Clinic is not a crisis service. If you are experiencing a crisis, please call the Mental Health Crisis Line at 1-888-893-8333 or proceed to the nearest emergency department.

Criteria:
You are an individual seeking support around an issue that is impacting your mental health.
You have a PERMANENT residence within the Couchiching region, this includes: City of Orillia, Ramara Township, Township of Oro-Medonte, Township of Severn, and Rama First Nation) and/or have a Family Doctor/NP who is part of the Couchiching Family Health Team.
You are NOT requiring documentation for an ongoing legal matter, example: family law, WSIB or a motor vehicle accident. Single Session Clinic can not provide any legal documentation.
You are NOT in crisis or at imminent risk which means concerns for your own safety or someone else - If you are feeling at imminent risk, please contact the crisis line at 1-888-893-8333 or proceed to the nearest emergency department.
