RAC is a free, immediate, accessible form of brief counselling. The services are provided by qualified counsellors. It is recommended that you schedule a session in advance by visiting www.counsellingconnectsask.ca. to ensure a session in the location.

RAC is open to anyone who is in need of mental health support. Clients may be children, youth, adults, couples or families. RAC is not appropriate for those experiencing acute mental health crisis or who are at immediate risk. Those individuals should proceed to their nearest Emergency Department.

RAC is not meant to be a replacement for an ongoing therapeutic relationship. It is intended to be a single session model of therapy – though you may always return to a Rapid Access Counselling Clinic more than once. Those clients who may benefit from ongoing counselling can receive a referral for ongoing services from their counsellor.
