The CareLink Advantage system automatically reaches out and contacts you if there is a problem. It does not rely on the user pushing any buttons (although it does accommodate a medical button). The role of the senior is passive. As a caregiver you don’t have to check in online to see if everything is OK with your loved one. You know that if there is an issue, the system will find you right away. CareLink Advantage handles much more than falls. It addresses wandering/elopement, medication compliance, sleeping, eating, and washroom patterns. You don’t constantly have to be calling or dropping by to check on your loved one. No one should go to bed worrying if their loved one is lying on the floor.
